Founder of The Coping Cove, LLC
Welcome! I am delighted to have the opportunity to share with you the immense benefits of therapy for children, teenagers, and young adults. As a therapist specializing in these distinct age groups, I am passionate about supporting young minds and fostering their growth.
For parents of younger children, I know that parenthood can be an incredible journey, filled with joy and fulfillment. However, it can also present unique challenges -- especially at the beginning and towards the metaphorical "end." If you have concerns about your child’s development or behavior, rest assured that you are not alone. I am here to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where your child can thrive. By partnering together, we can unlock their full potential and set them on a path towards success.
Teenagers, on the other hand, face a multitude of challenges as they navigate the complexities of adolescence. From general stress and anxiety to school-related issues, life transitions, and racial identity development, these struggles can often feel overwhelming. I am committed to helping teenagers understand and embrace their unique identities, providing them with the tools they need to navigate life’s ups and downs with confidence and resilience.
Similarly, young adults/professionals encounter their own set of challenges as they transition into adulthood. Whether it's adjusting to the independence of college life, facing tough career decisions, navigating relationship issues with partners/friends/family, or managing mental health concerns, I offer a supportive space where they can explore their experiences and develop strategies for success.
My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of the developmental stages that children, teenagers, or young adults are experiencing. I believe in the power of building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, respect, and collaboration. Together, we will work towards achieving goals, fostering growth, and enhancing overall well-being.
I invite you to take the next step on this journey with me. Let’s create a space where your child can thrive, your teenager can flourish, or you, as a young adult, can find the support you need. Feel free to reach out to schedule an appointment, or if you have any questions, I am here to provide further information and address any concerns you may have.
